Adam Lynch is a young, Australian based industrial designer who explores the possibilities of creating 3-dimensional products through the manipulation of 2-dimensional materials. Lynch's work emphasises the use of modern technologies to achieve his products.
Lynch has been active in Co-founding LAB DE STU, a Melbourne based multi award winning design collective, and more recently Dowel Jones Pty Ltd a Melbourne based product design firm with business partner Dale Hardiman
Lynch's design philosophy: simplifying my furniture to the bare essentials without compromising on its aesthetic values, while minimising materials and processes used to ensure that a sustainable outcome is achieved.
Lynch graduated from the Furniture Design course at RMIT in 2011, and Industrial Design with Honors at RMIT in 2013. He has exhibitied nationally and internationally showing work multiple times in Italy, London and recently at the National Gallery of Victoria as a part of Melbourne Now.
